Avlea Embroidery Kits

These Avlea Folk Embroidery kits help you take traditional folk embroidery and stitch it on any Folkwear pattern, garments, or household item you are making or already have! A hybrid between cross stitch and visible mending, the technique is easy to learn, and works up quickly. Great for personalizing your clothes and giving as gifts!

Each kit includes a 12x12" piece of 26ct waste fabric, DMC floss (8 yards each of 5 colors), a John James size 24 cross stitch needle, and complete instructions (kit does not include an item to embroider).

The Folk Flouirsh WOODLANDS kit nature-themed group of motifs and borders from traditional folk embroidery sources featuring trees, birds, and deer. Worked in a woodsy palette of greens, copper, gold, and warm blue, it includes 3 motifs and 6 borders.
