234 Cameos - knit and crochet pattern for two camisoles

This is a PDF pattern.  This is the instructions for the knitted and crocheted camisoles from the 234 Cameo pattern. These patterns are included in our 234 Cameos pattern, but if you are just wanting to purchase the knitting and crochet patterns, you can get them here.

The Knitted Camisole has short puffed sleeves, a scoop slip-over neck, and a self-drawstring waist with a short peplum.  Its open-work is lovely under or over your favorite top.  The knitting pattern is a simple eyelet lace stitch.

The Crocheted Camisole is a sleeveless, scoop-neck camisole/vest, which can be worn over long sleeve shirts, or by itself.  The pattern is easy to follow double crochet stitch with an eyelet pattern at center front, chain-stitch forms a scalloped edging at neck, armholes, and front opening.  A self-drawstring accents the waist.

We recommend 100% combed silk or mercerized cotton for both Knitted and Crochet camisoles in DK weight and fingering weight, respectively.

For knitted camisole:
Yarn: 700 (800, 900, 1050, 1200, 1350) yds / 650 (750, 800, 950, 1100, 1250) m dk-weight yarn (silk-blend, cotton, or wool-blend yarn suggested)
Gauge: In Chevron Lace pattern: 24 sts and 32 rows = 4” / 10 cm on size US 6 needles.

For crocheted camisole:
Yarn: 850 (950, 1100, 1250, 1400, 1550) yds / 800 (850, 1000, 1150, 1300, 1400) m fingering-weight yarn (silk-blend, cotton, or wool-blend yarn suggested)
Gauge: In double crochet: 24 sts and 14 rows = 4” / 10 cm on size D-3 crochet hook.
