Suggested patterns and items to embroider: Frankly, just about any Folkwear pattern would be wonderful, but these come to mind as particularly good for adding these folk embroidery motifs: 102 French Cheesemakers Smock, 109 Little Folks, 110 Little Kittel, 148 Black Forest Smock, 117 Croatian Shirt, 126 Vests of Greece and Poland, 128 Russian Settler's Dress, 203 Edwardian Underthings, 223 A Lady's Chemise, 303 English Cottage Kitchen. Also 146 Six Bags from Around the World. Stitch on a cuff or collar or placket; add a border to a hem; or stitch a motif on a corner or edge or center of a garment.
Add this embroidery to any shirts, pants, shorts, bandanas and scarves, children's clothing, baby items (bibs, etc), tote bags, napkins, kitchen towels, etc.
