235 Sporty Forties' Sweater - PDF knitting pattern

Typical of the 1940s style of women's sweaters, this cardigan is stylish, detailed, and practical.  The long-sleeve sweater has a shawl collar, a button-up front, and is knit in a modified basket weave stitch.  

This pattern comes from our currently out-of-print pattern, 235 Sporty Forties Dress and Sweater.  

Perfect for intermediate to advanced knitters.

Size: 6/8, 10/12, 14/16 (for chest measurements 31.5"/78cm, 34"/87cm, and 38"/97cm)

Gauge: 24 sts and 28 rows = 4"/10cm in square stitch pattern.

Yarn: Approximately 7 (8,9) skeins (135 yds/128m per 1 3/4 oz/50g skein), or equivalent.
